About Sally Santos, PA-C
With over a decade of experience treating thousands of patients from all over the world, Sally has expertly tailored both her medical and aesthetic treatment goals to incorporate the most innovative techniques and therapies. Having cultivated a strong belief in full-face evaluation and correction with natural enhancement, she has crafted an exquisitely artistic approach to each patient’s individual needs so that her results are unique to the patient. Sally’s combination-therapy approach helps each patient improve every aspect of their life, and the end result of her insight is complete patient satisfaction.
This successful approach is driven by Sally’s longstanding passion for learning and innovations in medicine. She earned her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating with honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She obtained two undergraduate degrees, first graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University, and then obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Sciences from UTHSCSA. Never content to stop learning and challenging herself, Sally is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Health Sciences.
Widely known as one of the most sought-after national trainers for Galderma Aesthetics, Sally was also selected to be on the GENNow advisory board, an exclusive network comprised of the top 30 non-physician GAIN faculty members in the country. Sally continues to serve as a speaker for Galderma and numerous other medical and aesthetic Dermatology companies.
In addition to her thriving aesthetic practice, Sally contributes to the development of new and improved pharmaceuticals by working as an investigator for clinical trials. She also gives back by mentoring PA students, serving as a preceptor for the Yale School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program.
About Mary Ruggeri, PA-C
Mary Ruggeri, MEd, MMSc, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Ella Medical Aesthetics in Austin, Texas. In addition to treating medical patients, Mary specializes in a variety of aesthetic procedures including neurotoxins, fillers, PRP, and more. She takes great satisfaction in getting to know her patients and understanding their needs in order to help them achieve their goals.
Mary grew up in Minnesota. Her background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago and a Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame. After several years of teaching, Mary attended Yale University School of Medicine where she earned her Master of Medical Science and became a Physician Assistant (PA). Mary is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Science.
Combining her love for medicine and education, Mary also works for the Yale School of Medicine PA Online Program as the Clinical Site Coordinator. She has worked on several multi-institutional wellbeing-focused research projects as well as the development of a PA wellbeing course. Mary recently completed a term serving on the Physician Assistant Education Association Board of Directors and frequently presents at national conferences.
Mary is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Physician Assistant Education Association and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
